2025-06-30
June 2025 marks the 24th National "Safety Production Month" in China, with the theme of "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies - Finding Safety Hazards Around Us." To continuously improve the company's safety management level and emergency response capabilities, and to strengthen employees' safety awareness and safety quality, Roswell Electric Company held an emergency escape and evacuation drill on the evening of June 27th in the west square of Plant 1. A total of 329 people participated, including safety officers from the Production Center, Quality Department, Engineering and Technology Department, and other departments.
This drill proceeded according to the predetermined plan. At 9:00 PM, with the emergency evacuation command signal broadcast from the fire control room, employees immediately proceeded in an orderly manner through the fire exits to the west square of Plant 1 to assemble. Afterwards, each team counted the number of people and recorded the evacuation time. After the report, Zhang Congsheng, the General Manager Assistant and overall commander of the drill, gave a summary speech.
Mr. Zhang emphasized the following three points:
1. Total Participation and Enhanced Safety Awareness
First, the company, through total participation, allowed every employee to thoroughly understand the importance of safety production and their personal responsibilities. Through the Safety Production Month activities, employees were able to enhance their safety awareness and master basic safety knowledge and skills. In particular, specific case analyses and discussions were conducted on safety accidents and emergency situations that may occur in the production environment, helping employees identify and prevent potential safety risks.
- 2. Improvement of Emergency Response Capabilities
To improve emergency response capabilities, the company organized a fire emergency drill, simulating common safety accident scenarios to test and train employees' emergency response capabilities. The drill emphasized rapid and effective emergency handling procedures and teamwork, enabling employees to react and make correct decisions quickly in real situations, minimizing losses and ensuring personnel safety.
- 3. Improvement and Implementation of Management Requirements
During the activity, we proposed management requirements for manufacturing plants to ensure the sustained effectiveness of the Safety Production Month activities:
- 1. Regular Safety Training and Assessment: Develop and implement regular safety training plans, covering all-staff training and professional skills training, and establish a safety knowledge assessment system to ensure the continuous improvement of employees' safety awareness and skills.
- 2. Maintenance of Safety Facilities and Equipment: Strengthen the daily maintenance and inspection of safety facilities and emergency equipment to ensure their effectiveness and reliability in emergencies.
- 3. Accident Analysis and Improvement Measures: Establish an accident reporting and analysis mechanism, and propose improvement and preventive measures to prevent accidents from recurring.
- 4. Safety Supervision and Management Support: Strengthen safety supervision and inspection efforts. Management should fully support safety work, ensure the implementation of safety policies, and promptly address existing safety hazards and problems.
This drill not only improved employees' safety awareness and emergency response capabilities but also promoted the overall improvement of the company's safety management level. In the future, Roswell will continue to implement the concept of "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies," continuously improve and perfect its safety management system, and strive to achieve safe production, ensure employee health, and promote the sustainable development of the enterprise.
